In 1985, SALTORK was quietly founded in Düsseldorf, a major industrial city in Germany. At that time, the European manufacturing industry was experiencing a wave of technological innovation, and Düsseldorf, with its profound accumulation in the field of mechanical engineering, became a cradle for countless innovative enterprises. Starting out as a manufacturer of electric motors and fans, SALTORK quickly gained a firm foothold in the local market by virtue of its dedication to precision craftsmanship. The founding team was well aware that in the fiercely competitive industrial sector, only quality and reliability could build a moat. Therefore, from the launch of its first product, it established the core philosophy of "responding to industrial needs with technical precision".
Entering the 1990s, the global wave of industrial automation began to emerge. SALTORK captured the urgent market demand for fluid control equipment and began to gradually expand its business boundaries. In 1992, the company invested heavily in researching and developing valve position control technology. Leveraging the precision drive experience accumulated in the field of motor manufacturing, the first independently developed electric valve position controller was well-received in the industry once it was launched. This breakthrough not only transformed SALTORK from a mere component supplier into an equipment manufacturer with system integration capabilities, but also extended its business scope from the traditional machinery field to the core links of process industry.
After 2010, the global energy structure transformation and the upgrading of environmental protection demands drove SALTORK into a new stage of development. The company expanded its business focus to the energy, power and water treatment sectors, achieving a number of technological breakthroughs in fluid control systems for nuclear power and photovoltaic power plants, as well as precision metering equipment for industrial wastewater treatment. In 2015, the R&D Center at SALTORK's German headquarters and the Technical University of Munich jointly established the "Intelligent Industrial Control Joint Laboratory" to accelerate the integration of digital technology with traditional equipment. The launched IoT valve position monitoring system enables remote diagnosis and predictive maintenance, reducing the failure rate of customers' equipment by more than 30%.
As of 2025, SALTORK has established 5 major production bases and 12 regional offices worldwide, forming a global service network with Düsseldorf, Seoul, Jinan and Northamptonshire as the four major regional centers. From being an initial regional motor manufacturer to now a multinational enterprise capable of providing customized technical solutions for key industries such as oil and gas, chemical engineering, energy and power, and water treatment, SALTORK has proven through its 35-year development history that continuous technological iteration and in-depth understanding of industry needs are the core driving forces for enterprises to survive cycles and achieve global leapfrogging. Today, SALTORK's products not only operate in the low-temperature control systems of Arctic research stations but also serve large-scale refining and chemical projects near the equator, writing a global chapter in the field of industrial control with the rigorous genes of German manufacturing.
